Tickled Pink Butterfly Challenge # 28

Ok, this is my 3rd post today..kinda crazy...but I didnt go to the gym today...stayed home and played hooky so I had a little more time on my hands then normal...lol
I worked on my TP challenge card today and I tried a bigger sized card this time....this one is 6 x 6 and I liked the way it came out....think I will try a few at this size.... gotta work on my embellishment stash though..lo

Challenge Card

Hello and good day!
Im working on a few different things, first of all I want to make bigger cards. When I first started trying to make cards I learned from MPS to take 8.5 x 11 inch card stock and cut in half and thats the size of the card.
As I learn more and more about card making, I realize that is not big enough to add details and back ground so I am working on different sized cards now.
This card is 4 x 6 completely by accident...lol but I liked having a bigger base to work with.
The Theme of this card is GONE WITH THE WIND

Fun in the Sun

Hello again....I had to do one more post today....I was so excited about this card I made....
I got the Idea to make my own card stock from a wonderful website called.... http://melissamade2.blogspot.com/
I found Melissa's blog during the stamp release for Tiddly Inks and Make it Crafty....and I have been stocking her blog every since....she has beautiful cards and she makes her own cardstock sometimes....so I decided to try my hand at this.....I love how this turned out!
I started with white cardstock and stamped it all over with a 1.00 stamp I purchased from Joann Fabrics...I used Memento ink....Then I just started coloing in the images with my copics....then I topped it off with some Martha Stewart  fine glitter.....not bad for my first try...
The main image is Moes Digital Pencil called Umbrella....I love her....she is chilling enjoying her cocktail....Im sure I will use this image alot...lol
Oh yeah and I found this website that gives free sentiments HERE and another one HERE...pretty cool.

I entered this card in the Stampinsanity summer challenge.

Hello and good day...
I am playing in my craft room today and I have a couple of things to show you.... I purchased  a Clip it up organizer from Walmart...I think it was 55.00 and only available online in my area....I am using it for my stamp storage....it actually bigger that I thought but I think I'm going to get alot of use out of it.....also there is another piece you can buy an add to the top so you get two racks.
I also made a card today...I thought it was for a challenge but when I was done...I forgot what challenge it was for...lol oh well....still a fun image to color.
This image was 1.oo on Kenny K's website....for a short time only.

Kenny K Anything goes Challenge

Hello and good day!
Yesterday I finished another great blog hop over at Kenny Ks Kraft Girls blog, another great bunch of talented ladies and I really love the Kenny K images...one of my favorites was The Big O....too cute and of course I have already purchased that Digi.
Well I had to make a card to go along with the blog hop so I picked one of my other favorite Kenny K Stamps...this one is called bling baby.
This is the first time I tried picking my CS first then coloring my image to match the paper I had chose.
I think this may be a better way to start a project...in the past I would color my image first....then scramble to find CS on hand that matched...anyway here is what I created.

Big Stamp Release coming

Tomorrow should be real fun! new stamp release happening as a joint venture, Tiddly Inks and Make it Crafty have a joint stamp release tomorrow.
I love The Tiddly Inks stamps and cant wait to see what they come up with.
I usually love anything in the steam Victorian area....and the sneak peaks are sooo interesting....gonna be big fun!

So many fun Blog Hops

Hello and good day!

Since I have started papercrafting I have been on my computer alot more than usual....I have so much fun looking at everyones creations..there are so many talened crafters out there sometimes I spend a good part of my day hopping from one blog to another.
Currently some of my favorites websites are hosting blog hops....Kenny K Krafty girls has one...and boy are there some talened ladies there.
Tickled Pink is currently hosting a blog hops and WOW I love everything I saw...The Pink ladies are definitly talened.
I have managed to squeeze in two cards of my own in the last two days...One card I used a Digi image from Moes Digital Pencil and the other image was free from Devinart....can you beleive that....The artist is wonderful and he draws alot of anime....its harder to color for me but the images are so pretty...I wanted to try.

I was trying to participate in the Whimsical Wednesday blog hop yesterday and was having a hard time posting comments to come of the blogs.....it ruined my fun....google kept making me sign in over and over and wouldnt save my comment.......If anyone know anything about this....please help...it was making me crazy....I had to stop and make a card for therapy....lol
I made this card for a challenge...the challenge was to use lace...
I do not have much of a stash yet so I found this little scrap of what I think is lace and made this.

The more Copic Marker choice I have the funner it is to color images....those sukers are just soo expensive...lol

Happiness is a warm Puppy.is the sentiment and its true...puppies are just a bundle of Love....thats all they do...Play Love oh and eat...lol
Chanel will actually sit in my lap for hours while I blog hop and craft....Ive had to learn how to work with her in my lap.

Tickled Pink Challenge #27

Hello and good day!
I have been working with Madeline from Shabby Vanity on my new blog look today and its going to be sooo cute!
Madeline really does a great job.
If your blog needs a make over...you have to check out Shabby Vanity.
So the card I made today was for the TP, and the challenge was to use a doily.....and that was a REAL challenge for me because I dont have any doilys or dies that look like doilys....dont have much of a stash yet...lol
So I found this cut on the Cricut Cindy Loo cartridge and its the closes I could get to a doily.....Ive got to get some spellbinders soon.
Here is my card using the Tickeld Pink Lil Victorian Steampunk Evie....Ive used this stamp a couple times now...I love it.

Tiddly Inks

Hello again....I have 2 other cards to share today....I found the Tidly Winks website and found some super cute Digi stamps....Here are two of my favorite images....(I know I Know...I say that all the time...lol)

My poor Cricut machines....since I discovered Copics....I havent touched my Cricut....and my Imagine machine came in this week and I barley turned it on.....Im sure I will get back on my machines but for now all I do is hunt for new stamp images.

Sundays with Chrissy Challenge #19

Hello and blessed day!
I colored a couple of images today...I didnt finish making all the cards because I was having such a good time coloring...lol just like being a kid again.
I did finish this card and decided to use it for a challenge.
The challenge was to distress or ink the card... not something Im really used to doing but I did distress the edges on the cardstock and I did ink the edges behind the image.
I LOVE this stamp....its called bling baby ..from Kenny k at Whimsy....she is sooo cute with her Ugg boots......hope you like.

Prince

Hello and good day!
Im just getting back in my craftroom to play after the 4th of July weekend...I went outside my house last night around 9:30pm and it sounded like a war was going on in my city....there were fireworks going off EVERYWHERE....(they are illegal here)
It wsa a little sad for me because it made me think of my dog Prince...he just passed away a few days before.
Prince was my Cocker Spaniel and he was 14 years old...every year we put him in the house on the fouth of July so he could hide by the couch...lol
So I have been feeling sad for my doggie....Chanel is doing her best to pick up my spirits.
I made this card for Prince and thought I would use it for the Throwback Thurday Challenge.

Whimsical Wednesday Challenge # 12 Lets get Patriotic

Hello and good day fellow crafters.
I had such a hard time using the red copic markers for this challenge...I actually colored this image 3 times and when I realized I wasnt getting any better I gave up...LOL ....for now at least.
I only have a couple red markers so the next set of 12 markers I get  ( I buy 12 at a time on ebay for 51.00)
I will try some different shades of red.
No matter what method I tried....the red color bleeds out of the lines...I have not had that problem with any of the other colors...yet....it dosent really matter as long as we have fun....right?
I still like my card as long as you look at it from a distance...lol the challenge was to use a brad or bling or a button...I thought I would try to use all 3 but could only make it work with a button and always...THE BLING!!

Yes my birthday is in April.
I am a shopaholic recently I have switched my shopping expeditions to craft stores..
I go to Joann Fabrics and Micheal's every week.lol
I was a cheerleader 4 years in high school.
My favorite movie is still Jaws and I recite the lines now when I'm watching the movie....also I watch it on the Spanish channel even though I don't speak Spanish.....I know kinda nerdy.
I'm very adventurous, I like indoor skydiving and rock climbing....I love animals  I would love to play with Lions and tigers but I scream the house down if I see a spider.
I absolutely love receiving gifts and clap my hands and get excited like a kid and I receive the exact same feeling when I give gifts.....

Ok, I think this is my last card for today....but I'm not promising...lol
I went to the gym first thing this morning and I have had a day FULL of energy so I think I made 4 cards today...which is perfect because its time for me to mail some cards to my Aunties.
I have 2 Aunties in Texas and 2 in Mississippi and as much as I can see all my mistakes on my cards...they don't....and they love them!
I have not mastered the art of making one card that I can use in multiple challenges, like some of the Very creative ladies out there and actually I forget to check back but here is my attempt.
This stamp is from 7 kids College Fund website, I really wanted to make the mermaids hair blonde but didn't have the right copic colors to do so this is my version of blonde...lol
