Whimsical Wednesday Challenge # 12 Lets get Patriotic

Hello and good day fellow crafters.
I had such a hard time using the red copic markers for this challenge...I actually colored this image 3 times and when I realized I wasnt getting any better I gave up...LOL ....for now at least.
I only have a couple red markers so the next set of 12 markers I get  ( I buy 12 at a time on ebay for 51.00)
I will try some different shades of red.
No matter what method I tried....the red color bleeds out of the lines...I have not had that problem with any of the other colors...yet....it dosent really matter as long as we have fun....right?
I still like my card as long as you look at it from a distance...lol the challenge was to use a brad or bling or a button...I thought I would try to use all 3 but could only make it work with a button and always...THE BLING!!

Award and Paying it forward

Hello and good morning fellow crafters.

Exiciting new for me...I started working with Madeline at Shabby Vanity, so soon I will have a new look for my blog and......I saw that I was given a award!
Of course you all now its my very first award, so its very special to me.
I want to Thank Sonia of Archiving Angel for giving me this delicious award  also for giving me support and inspiration with her lovely comments and great information she gives on her blog.
I think 3 parts of receiving this award is:

1. Thank the person who gave it to you.
2.Pay if forward to 8 friends
3. Share 7 things about myself.
I feel the same as Sonia...I do not want anyone to feel obligated to follow these rules...I just wanted to give you the award to show my appreciation for your support.

First I will share a few things about myself.
Yes my birthday is in April.
I am a shopaholic recently I have switched my shopping expeditions to craft stores..
I go to Joann Fabrics and Micheal's every week.lol
I was a cheerleader 4 years in high school.
My favorite movie is still Jaws and I recite the lines now when I'm watching the movie....also I watch it on the Spanish channel even though I don't speak Spanish.....I know kinda nerdy.
I'm very adventurous, I like indoor skydiving and rock climbing....I love animals  I would love to play with Lions and tigers but I scream the house down if I see a spider.
I absolutely love receiving gifts and clap my hands and get excited like a kid and I receive the exact same feeling when I give gifts.....
Now the very taleneted and super sweet ladies I would pay it foward to are:

1. Cindy at Cindy's Little Creations.
2. Stephanie at Always Crafting ( I know you have this already but I appreciate you also)
3. Sarah at Scrappin Sarah
4.Alice Brown at Scrappin Sista
5. Pauline at Ulysses mama
6. Kim H at Scrapping mom of one inspiring little boy.
7. Dusti at Scrappin with Cricut
8. Iris at Paper crafting in Cocoa.

and super cute and afforable digi stamps.

Ok, I think this is my last card for today....but I'm not promising...lol
I went to the gym first thing this morning and I have had a day FULL of energy so I think I made 4 cards today...which is perfect because its time for me to mail some cards to my Aunties.
I have 2 Aunties in Texas and 2 in Mississippi and as much as I can see all my mistakes on my cards...they don't....and they love them!
I have not mastered the art of making one card that I can use in multiple challenges, like some of the Very creative ladies out there and actually I forget to check back but here is my attempt.
This stamp is from 7 kids College Fund website, I really wanted to make the mermaids hair blonde but didn't have the right copic colors to do so this is my version of blonde...lol
Boutique flowers
Martha Stewart Fine glitter with Glossy accents
I will be using this card for 2 challenges
7 Kids College Fund Challenge(Great site...I ve order alot of stamps, paper and supplies at a great price)

Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge # 54

Hello and good day!
Today was a little mini Christmas for me because I received some new Stamps.
I really like the convenience of the Digi stamps ....you pay...you get your stamps but for some reason....I cant figure why.....I just like having the rubber stamps in my hand....lol
I like having my image in my collection....its probably because I am not a computer person so I am always fearful that I will delete the digi images by accident or something.
So today I received a couple Tilda stamps that are soooo cute I couldn't decide which one to use first.
I was able to practise my copic coloring and also cutting the image one your done coloring is not so easy for me.....but I say it all the time.....its fun trying!

My Pink Stamper Birthday Card Challenge

Hello fellow paper crafters!
I have missed playing in my craftroom and blogging but things are starting to slow down so I'm hoping to finish painting my craftroom soon, I seem to have lost a little of my steam...lol
I am really excited to be working with Madeline from Shabby Vanity real soon....maybe I will be able to show my newly painted craftroom and newly designed blog page at the same time!
I have been purchasing my Copic markers 12 at a time....as you know...they are kind of expensive but I have been finding good deals on ebay...for brand new markers.
I must show you my cards I colored today....I need alot more practise but its sooo fun learning.
Suzanne Dean has great tutorials and I have fallen in love with the cute digi images from Moe's digital pencil and LOVE the Greeting Farm Stamps.
Let me know what you think..

I am using this card for the Birthday Crazy Card Challenge over at My Pink Stamper

Moe's Digital Pencil

Hello and happy hot Tuesday!
We finally started getting some warm weather today and I loved it.
Time to stock up on some Ice cream...I have been exercising 3 days a week for the past year so I have to get the skinny cow Ice cream....its actually very good,  taste like an Ice cram sandwich and you can get them at Target for a great price.
I have been playing with my copic markers and really enjoying myself making cards with these digital images from Moe's Digital Pencil, I saw this web-site on Iris;s blog Crafting in Cocoa....she really does some gorgeous cards....anyway I am in LOVE with these images probably because Ive always wanted a little girl but I have 2 boys so I will have to wait for grand daughters...in the mean time I will color pictures of cute little girls...lol
I am slowly expanding my copic collection...kinda hard cause they are very expensive but I found great info on Suzanne Deans blog...Scrapbitz.blogspot.com
As far as which colors to try to get first.

Here are my cards for today

Work in progress

Hello and good evening,
Its been a while since I have been able to craft or blog....about a week or so....LOL that's a long time for me.
Alot has been going on, I cannot even begin to go over everything...Graduation week was very busy but so fun. My husband and I had four Grads in our families and I made cards for all.
I have my craft room half re-painted and that REALLY makes it hard to do anything in here...everything is all over the place.
I received my Cricut Imagine machine and I was so excited...I installed my pink end caps,  set up and calibrated my machine and played with it a day before it broke....lol
I am in the process of getting a new one from Provocraft...they were great with trying to help me over the phone and when that didn't work...made arrangements for me to get a new machine immediately.
I Have had a little time to play with my copic markers....I don't have very many yet so everything I color is pretty much the same colors....lol but great practise.
I really miss my challenges and am hoping to finish my craft room by this weekend and get back in the challenges next week..
Here is a pic of my 2 projects on my Imagine before it broke.

I made the flower embellishment myself.

Copic Practice

Hello and Gooday!

I haven't been able to post anything in a couple of days...I have been busy re-painting my craft room and also playing with new toys (craft supplies)
I received my basic set of Copic Markers. and I have been watching tutorials and practising with my markers.
The copics  remind me of when I was young and how much I used to LOVE coloring .
I still remember how happy I was when I received the extra large box of crayons with the sharpener in the back of the box.....I was sooo happy.
I also remember my little brother trying to eat my crayons...lol
I have also been trying to learn how to make my own flower embellishments, the cost on these things can be high after a while.
So here is my first attempt with copic markers...I didn't complete the cards because I don't have the right paper and the markers bleed through.
I am ordering either Neenah paper or Cryogen White this week.
I am looking for a copic class in my area....wish me luck...lol

Kisses

Sweet

Hello and good day!

Lots of exciting things going on....I spent a good part of the day blog hopping for the Peachy Keen sneak peak stamp release.
OH MY GOSH....so many talented ladies.....my head is full of ideas I want to try....I had so much fun hopping around, I didn't do much crafting today.
Something else really exciting....I finally was able to order my Cricut Imagine!!!! whoooo hooo
I have been wanting The CI for a while now....Ive already bought a few Imagine cartridges and I even have my pink end caps for the Imagine...LOL so today I spent a little time making space for my machine that I should get next week.
I ordered some super cute stamps from Tickled Pink and Kenny K and  now I;m looking for a set of Copic markers but the choices were so many....I gave up for today, if anyone knows what set is good for a beginner....please help...lol
I went to Lowe's today to pick out new paint color for my bedroom and craft room, so I will be painting this weekend.
I went through a phase where I painted each room with a different paint technique (sponge, color washing, combing and faux bricks) same basic color but different styles...now I feel I have to tone down some of the walls...specially my craft room because its a busy room already.
Anyway I did make one card today using my Cricut 2 and the Imagine Yummy Cartridge.
Blessings for all

I went to the gym this morning to take my weekly step class but before I left I was able to make a card for the Challenge.
